Hayley has a love of animals, especially rabbits and horses. From a young age Hayley has helped at the local riding stables and also showing ponies at the Island’s horse shows. Hayley has spent the last 5 years working with young adults with disabilities (to gain independence) on a small holding with alpacas, llamas, sheep and pigs.
Hayley started working at Island Vetcare as an animal care assistant in 2018, she then swiftly moved onto our work placement apprenticeship scheme to train as a veterinary nurse. Having sailed through every part of her qualification, Hayley proved to be an invaluable member of our team and we’re proud to call out first ‘home grown’ nurse.
